Anchor & Heart Lacquer “Cold Water & Sunshine”

So Anchor & Heart Lacquer is a fairly new brand. I discovered Taryn and her beautiful polish right before her very first collection came out. I was instantly interested because her polishes were gorgeous and they told a story. She based her first collection on her beautiful homeland…Maine! One of the polishes in her collection that caught my eye was Cold Water & Sunshine.

This polish is a beautiful aquamarine and it is pure bliss! This polish makes me think of sparkling blue waters on a sunny day. It has a blue and silver holo shimmer and also has some silver flakies. It was a little sheer with one coat but two coats it was completely opaque. I tend to paint thin coats so if you did a thicker coat one coat might be enough. The application was smooth and weird side note…the way her brush handle felt was awesome. It seemed to have more grip than others that I have used…anyway off the rabbit trail! Here are more pictures!

LOOK AT THOSE FLAKIES!!! Like I said earlier. This is two thin coats with top coat!

This mani wouldn’t have been complete without a cute little anchor either…

I used vinyls by the Polished Vino and Fairytale Finish Polish’s California Poppies…an exclusive from her April subscription box.

Anchor & Heart Lacquer is releasing her second collection the end of this month and it’s based on friendship…so if your bff is having a birthday or if you just want to get her something special then you should take a look at this! Check out her Instagram to keep up to date on restocks, etc. Also check out the Polished Vino and Fairytale Finish Polish as well!
