Quixotic Polish: Donnerwetter Geht

Product purchased by me, all opinions are mine and mine alone.

Hey everyone! I’ve had my mom in town for the past few days and I’ve been soaking up as much time as possible with her! My son has been ecstatic to have his Aunts and Uncles around as well. I’m the oldest child out of eight and half of my siblings are still in their early teens/preteen years, so they’re closer in age with my son than they are with me! It’s been so sweet to see them all play with and love on him.

Anyway…I had some free time today while my family was busy so I wanted to share a beauty with you all from Quixotic Polish!

Donnerwetter Geht…

LED lighting…

This beauty was part of a fun custom thing that Mary did soon after she first opened. She had a handful of people create customs with her and then had the members vote on which ones they liked best. Then a few of the ones with the most votes were made available to everyone! Fun fact…the name of this polish is Pennsylvania Dutch for “thunderstorms end”, how cool is that? I absolutely love those moments at the end of a thunderstorm where everything is so calm, and it smells absolutely delicious!

This polish is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! It is a white crelly with different colored and sized glitters and flakies. It also has a light dusting of holo. You all know I’m a sucker for a white crelly so this one was a MUST have!

Direct sunlight…

Mmmmmm…just look at those glitters in the sunlight!

Application for this baby was a breeze! There wasn’t any finagling with the glitters and it all self leveled beautifully. Clean up was a breeze and there wasn’t any staining. Pictured is three thin coats and top coat. You could probably get away with two thicker coats.

If you haven’t checked out Quixotic Polish then you need to! Her polishes are amazing and Mary is an absolute doll. You can find her website here. Also make sure you check out her Instagram and Facebook Fan Group so you can keep up on the latest happenings.

I hope you all enjoyed my review! Make sure you check out my Instagram to keep up with all my manis and makeup looks. I also just created a Twitter account, so head on over there as well!
